NFL pundits scoffed at the selections of E.J. Manuel and Geno Smith. Sunday both rookie quarterbacks will make their NFL debuts with the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets, respectively. Sean Payton returns from a year long suspension ready to put his foot on the pedal of the high scoring New Orleans Saints offense. In Philadelphia, Chip Kelly brings his own brand of football to a city eager to move on from the Andy Reid Era. We’ll get our first look at the Eagles on Monday against the Washington Redskins.

Tonight, the Denver Broncos seek a small measure of revenge against the world champions.

Can Minnesota really be that good with Adrian Peterson carrying most of the load?

You saw what Peyton Manning did against Baltimore and Julius Thomas looks incredible. Throwing 462 yards and 7 touchdowns on opening night is as ridiculous as it gets, and in coming out the box so stellar, Denver served the league notice that it is and will be a Super Bowl favorite every week of the season. NFL kickoff pick, Baltimore Ravens @ Denver Broncos: That spread is kinda high

broncosravensThe last time Baltimore and Denver played was an instant classic. The divisional round affair was everything you desire in a playoff game. That’s how every game should be played and hopefully kicking off the season tonight, the Broncos and Ravens will give us something just as entertaining. Peyton Manning and the Broncos were rolling heading into that dramatic playoff loss, so the 38-35 Ravens victory still has to sting Denver, but 7.5 seems high without a player as great as Von Miller.
