Nick Foles and the Eagles have stiffened up their play as the playoffs draw near.

No one knew what to expect when former Oregon Ducks head coach Chip Kelly brought his mercurial offense to the Philadelphia Eagles. We assumed the characteristics of such an explosive offense were tailor made for quarterback Michael Vick. We overlooked how quickly the current roster caught on. With second year quarterback Nick Foles running a variation of the offense, the Eagles are knocking on the door of the playoffs with a 7-5 record.

Philly earned a character win against the Arizona Cardinals — extending their winning streak to four games — and remained tied with the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East.
