TSF Greatest Playoff Moments 4/26/84: New Jersey Nets deny the Philadelphia 76ers a dynasty

Posted in Blogroll on April 28th, 2014 by Ron Glover

(Taringa.net)

The 1982-83 Philadelphia 76ers are considered one of the greatest NBA championship teams ever. Philly would meet the up and coming New Jersey Nets in the first round of the 1983-84 playoffs. Easy work right? For the 76ers, nothing came easy in a series which was dominated by two young stars from across the bridge.

Stiviano — who describes herself as Black and Mexican — stated she should not associate herself with African-Americans, most notably Magic Johnson.

43 points and 8 in Game 2 after 46 and 18 in Game 1.

Comparing Aldridge to Spencer Haywood (TSF Live interview with Spencer) is not about build or even their games, but more of an ability to hit a mid-range turnaround efficiently as well as bang down low when it counts. His confidence in his jumper maybe gives him a too cool reliance to play outside the paint, but he’ll get it right. If you don’t believe me, just ask Kevin McHale just that and check his response…
