@TSFSports NFL Week 9 previews and predictions: Big Ben is clocking huge numbers for the new look Steelers

(NY Daily News)

Last week’s offensive jail break against the Colts left Ben Roethlisberger 33 yards shy of the single-game passing mark.

These aren’t the same ‘ol Pittsburgh Steelers. The days of power smash-mouth football have been replaced with an aerial assault led by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Last week against the Indianapolis Colts, Big Ben was 40 of 49 for 522 yards and six touchdowns in the Steelers 51-34 victory. The Steel Curtain defense resembles more of a wet paper bag now, but with this kind of firepower, the Steelers may have just enough to end their post-season drought.

Byes: Bears, Bills, Falcons, Lions, Packers and Titans.
