@TSFSports Week 14 NFL Picks: Time for the Eagles to take flight

(Pro.32.ap_org)

The Eagles offensive line is healthy and LeSean McCoy is peaking for a postseason run.

The Philadelphia Eagles (9-3) have had gone from surviving a 17-0 deficit to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1 to defeating the Indianapolis Colts on the road the following week. Chip Kelly’s bunch has also survived last-minute losses to the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals.

Let’s not forget the 53-20 spanking the Green Bay Packers gave them nearly a month ago.

Mark Sanchez stepped in for an injured Nick Foles in the Houston Texans game and led the team to a 3-1 record as a starter including last Thursday’s 33-10 pounding of the Dallas Cowboys. This week’s showdown against the Seattle Seahawks (8-4) will tell us all we need to know about the 2014 Philadelphia Eagles.

how come RG3 and cam Newton are not being discussed in these pages?

I expected those two NFL QBs representing two blatant, awful cases of sandbagging would be issues of great concern in these pages?

why would Jerry Richardson reduce his team to rubble after winning a division championship..why instead did he not seek improvement and try for a SB?

Cam Newton cant give a good account of himself with that collection of awful players. Cam is paying with his body and his future health here. he is gimpy and without protection, running for his life every game day

Same thing with RG3 now his coach comes out and proves my early contention of being an RG3 hater form the start. what in the hell did Griffin do to attract the terrific hate of Gruden, Joe Theisman, the Shanahans, Steve Young….

this is insane. utter and open insanity flowing in NFL football?

this is the worse I have ever seen it but its not like it used to be. there are black GMs and coaches, QBs. its a new day… yet?

may be this is the last stand of NFL racism, a reaction and backlash against what surely is an irreversible trend to full minority inclusion at all levels of NFL football.

maybe that is why it seems so bad..a last ditch pitched battle by the racists to maintain a dying, egregious and rotted to the core status quo?

To our credit Mizzo and I have discussed the issues of Griffin, Kaepernick and Newton at length in private and in social media. Even in some of the archived pieces some of what’s happening now was mentioned prior to it occurring. It’s my intent to go into what’s going on especially with Newton once the season is over.
