@TSFSports Week 16 NFL Picks: The Dallas Cowboys new triplets could be a problem in the post-season

(Mark Terrill/AP)

Dez Bryant, DeMarco Murray, Tony Romo

Dez Bryant, DeMarco Murray and Tony Romo are headed to the post-season.

Don’t look now but the Dallas Cowboys are streaking towards the NFL Playoffs with a full head of steam. The Cowboys have yet to clinch the NFC East, but with nearly every tie-breaker over the Philadelphia Eagles in their favor, it’s safe to say the division is theirs to lose.

The last time Jerry Jones fielded a Cowboys squad with a trio like Dez Bryant, DeMarco Murray, Tony Romo and a dominant offensive line, he was winning Lombardi Trophies.

Heaven forbid.

The Pokes all but sealed the NFC East with a stunning victory over the Eagles in Week 15.

  1. Mapoui says:

Julio Jones, the sweetest of wide receivers.

I mean Beckham made his ‘catch’ and Megatron is the Max. but what a tremendous player is Julio Jones..Money in the Bank I call him. I bet Atlanta with absolute confidence yesterday just because Jones was playing

I did the same with Detroit because of Megatron as well. I knew in the end he would come through if he was targeted. and who else would be targeted

Philly lost out eh. nice one to hang on the eagles of Brotherly love and Chip Kelly. no play-offs this year for Philadelphia

too bad DeSean did not dazzle the league this year. but place that at the door of Jay Gruden..the most stupid first year coach I have seen.

and of Snyder too…the owner who was supposed to have hired a coach who liked his prized QB RG3, and who was going to work with him, make him the centre of his offensive plans. Jay turned out to hate Griffin instead.

I also bet Minnesota with absolute confidence to cover the spread and even possibly defeat Miami, thanks to a very good first year coach Mike Zimmer. Jay Gruden should look north for some lessons

I also bet Oakland with great confidence to beat Buffalo..because I figured the Raiders would play tough at home, create a clutch situation for Buffalo in which Kyle Orton would not deliver. he did not!

yesterday was a good pay day. it would have been even better had I boxed Baltimore on one of my tickets..a really big one..so that any result would still have meant a win.

but I played Baltimore to win straight and they did not… the only game of 15 I had wrong. maaan!

Joe Flacco and Gary Kubiak..a sure tandem recipe for losing. they cost me last week and I knew this week I should play the opposition…but I reasoned with the play-offs on the line Baltimore would come through.

it was Baltimore after all we talking about..Newsome’s team…of Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs…

but Flacco cant win unless he has great players and coaches all around him..and even then. Kubiak is no help now that Caldwell left. Newsome will have to get a real good OC for Flacco or Baltimore is going nowhere

Baltimore could not beat Houston with Case Keenum at QB…Keenum, from out of the league to under Houstons centre, to beat Flacco and Kubiak

I did not need Baltimore to do anything spectacular, like cover a point spread of 6.5 points..just produce a win by any number of points..just 1 point difference would do.
