The clamps: Once Iggy got past Prince, Roscoe was there waiting
Wade on getting in shape to play on the US National team this summer: “My body will be good. Next week I start working out with my trainer, Tim Grover in Chicago. My trainers from Miami all come down and we all get to work on my body. I’m trying to get as healthy this year as I’ve ever been in my life. They Olympics are very important, not only for me but for the USA…I’m 100% in, unless somebody else tells me that I can’t play.”

Dirk is in his prime, but there always seems to be something missing in his game
The life of a professional coach has to be crazy. I liken it to a bunch of kids peeking around a corner hoping their Pop isn’t waiting with the belt after a bad report card.

How many points is Chris Paul adding to Tyson Chandler’s career total?
Barkley on the Mavericks at practice: “Maybe (the Mavericks) were talking about where they are going to go on vacation after the game, because they are going to lose tonight.”

The Mavs have lost 12 of 15 playoff games
Just think, the last three MVP trophies are going fishing. The media crush around the Mavs and the Suns before this year was maddening. I just didn’t understand why people were so enamored with teams cottony soft in a playoff rock hard world. Say what you want about Flash’s 17 free throw a game average a couple of years back, but Dallas made its own bed that series and has never recovered.

At the buzzer….again
New Orleans 127, Dallas 103
Hornets lead series 2-0
Yes he is. The legend is in fact…fact. Chris Paul became the first player in NBA history to have two games of 30 points, 10 assists and 3 steals and also the first player to do the aforementioned in his first two playoff games.

Too young to have this much fun?
Imagine going up against one of the players you grew up studying with it all on the line. He’s the first road block in your dream to become champion. Could you write a better script?
