Ginobili on if the Spurs can win without a big game from center Tim Duncan: “Yes, I think we can (win without Duncan). He’s a very smart player and every time he is going to get blitzed defensively, he’s going to kick it (out). I think we’ve got good enough shooters to step up. While many are still trying to digest the fact that Kobe Bryant is the 2007-08 NBA MVP despite MVP-worthy seasons from New Orleans’ Chris Paul and Cleveland’s LeBron James. I’ve come up with a question.

Who was the best player in any sport or season (other than this season) not to win his/her respective league’s MVP Award.

Kobe Bean Bryant is the story of how a child from West Philadelphia, grew into a man of worldwide acclaim. It has been 12 years since the fabled NBA Draft of 1996…within that class are the likes of Allen Iverson, Marcus Camby, Ray Allen, Steve Nash, and Jermaine O’Neal, however none of them are as intriguing as the enigma that is Bryant.
